Our phone lines open at 08:00 taking over from the out of hours services, but appointments are not able to be booked until our listed opening times.
We are open for pre-booked appointments with a GP on a Saturday Morning from 09:00 until 12:00.
The Practice does not have telephones on during these hours and in emergencies patients should contact NHS 111.
General Practice Hub
Evening and weekend appointments now available
Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on weekday evenings (after 6.30pm) or at the weekends (on Saturday and Sunday) and can be booked up to one week ahead. Appointments take place at the GP Hub, King Edward VII Hospital although may occasionally be offered for St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead. Please book these appointments in the usual way through our Reception team.
The Clinicians you see will have the same access to your medical records as clinicians at here at the Practice.
These appointments are for routine general practice issues only and not for urgent care. If urgent care is required outside of our opening times please call 111 for advice.
This 'General Practice Hub' service is part of a national initiative to improve access to general practice.
When We Are Closed
Outside normal surgery hours you can still phone the surgery and you will be directed to an out-of-hours service. The out-of-hours period is from 18:30 to 08:00 on weekdays and all day at weekends and on bank holidays.
If it is not an immediate emergency then call NHS 111. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It can provide medical advice and details of the best local service that can provide care. Telephone consultations and triage are an important part of all out-of-hours care. GP's can choose whether to provide 24-hour care for their patients or to transfer responsibility for out-of-hours services to the relevant NHS England Area Team.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
