Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete our travel questionnaire and hand this into reception. This will be reviewed by one of our Practice Nurses within 5 working days and they will then be able to advise if an appointment is necessary or not.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

It is important to give us plenty of notice of your travel (at least 6 weeks) as some vaccines take time to work or may need to be ordered in. You may require multiple appointments for courses of vaccinations and if you require a Yellow Fever vaccination this can only be done at our South Meadow Surgery site.

Some travel vaccines are ordered in a privately as not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS (this includes Hepatitis B, Rabies, Yellow Fever, Meningitis ACWY (for travel), tick-bourne encephalitis and Japanese b encephalitis). Please ask at reception for a list of our current fees.
